SOLD...SOLD...SOLD...SOLD...SOLD...SOLD...SOLD...SOLD..SOLD...SOLD...SOLD...SOLD...SOL D...SOLD...SOLD...SOLD..Here we have a gorgeous Catalina convertible in Blue Charcoal topped with a white convertible top. This car is simply beautiful! Check out the oh- so-long, laser strait, quarter panels and admire how laser straight the entire body is. Every panel on this solid, southern Pontiac is original with no dents, dings, damage or rust, NEVER EVER! The floors are original, rust free and solid! The trunk pan is original, rust free and solid! The paint looks so deep you could almost reach down into it.

Interesting wheels, you say? Wait a minute! Look closely--those tires aren't wrapped around any ordinary old wheel--this Catalina has its original, exquisite and highly sought-after Pontiac 8-lug wheel hubs. For those who don't know, the center of the wheel is actually the brake drum, and the rim is mounted to the outer edge of the brake drum. It's 40-plus years later and those Pontiac wheels are still an object of unequaled beauty.

Let's check out the inside of this beauty! The upgraded seats are comfortable and lend themselves to some easy cruising. The automatic transmission is column shifted and instrumentation is typical of large Pontiacs of the Sixties. A somewhat newer Delco AM/FM radio cranks out some tunes to keep you happy as you ease on down the road. The original factory clock still ticks and keeps good time!

A very rare and unusual option lives aboard this land yacht. In the early to mid Sixties, true stereo was a novel concept in a car. For several years the premium sound system in many cars consisted of a reverberator unit mounted in the trunk. The reverb unit would give an ordinary radio broadcast a slight echo effect that provided extra richness to the sound. This Catalina has an original, intact reverb unit! From the switch on the dash to the reverb module mounted in the trunk, the reverb unit is complete on this car. It's not currently connected to the Delco radio, but it's there and ready in case an original Pontiac radio should be desired!

Under the hood rests a smooth running Pontiac 400 cubic inch V8 emgine, origianlly out of a '69 GTO. This engine starts quickly and runs smoothly, with plenty of power to motivate this Catalina. The automatic transmission is a Turbo 400 that shifts into gear firmly with no hesitation.

Power steering makes navigating this large Pontiac a job that's done with the greatest of ease.

The Catalina's other power option is the convertible top. Recently recovered with a fresh white canvas top, a simple push of a button lowers and raises the top with ease.

In short, here is a Pontiac Catalina convertible that will certainly be a blast to drive--whether it's to the beach or to a weekend cruise-in. This would be a great example of vintage Pontiac iron for any collection.

As were most of the Pontiacs of the Sixties, this Catalina is long, low, lean and mean. Aggressive styling and design placed Pontiac on the cutting edge of automotive design and ensured their popularity. The 1966 Catalina was a prime example of the clean, yet angular lines that characterized Pontiac at the time.

A perhaps little-known fact is that the entire cast of the 1960s TV sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie" drove Pontiacs. This is probably because Pontiac was a sponsor and wouldn't allow other makes to be shown. Regardless, it was very common for Major Nelson to be seen tooling around in a classy Pontiac convertible--not unlike the 1966 Pontiac Catalina convertible seen here!

If you want to feel like Major Nelson driving home to his Jeannie, give one of our friendly sales representatives a call today, and we'll work our magic to make it yours!
